Opportunity

Cowichan Valley Basket Society is in need of a soup server for the kiosk, Saturday afternoons 12-4.


The Cowichan Valley Basket Society (Food Bank) is looking for a part time cook. The hours are 2-3 days per week 7:30-4, or approximately 20 hours. This position may be considered as a job share with the other part time cook.
This position reports directly to the manager. The cook is responsible for decisions about the menu, food preparation and organization of the kitchen.

Needs

Volunteers: We are training people for: sandwich makers, soup servers, stocking helpers and hamper packers. Please call for more information and we will set up an appointment.

Financial

Donations of cash or cheques can be brought to the office during office hours, or you can mail a cheque, or you can donate online using the button below.

Donations to this registered charity are recognized with an annual receipt for tax deduction purposes.

Your donation helps the Society's Buyer to purchase bulk goods for distribution in hampers or use in the dining area.

Foods

Donations of canned goods, dry goods, & fresh produce are always welcome. Food can be dropped off between 9AM and 4PM or a pick up can be arranged for large quantities.
